From South West London branch: By The Horns (21-27 Summerstown, SW17 0BQ) are holding a Summer Beer Showcase/Solstice Party this Saturday (22/6). They will have the "last ever cask" of their Russian Imperial Stout (10.5%) available, plus some new (seasonal) beers, on both cask & keg. I tried the Tropika (4.5%), which is a pina colada pale ale (I know, but it is not at all overpowering - quite a light refreshing taste) and found it to be very good. Back again this year, on cask this time, is Citrus Paradisi, a grapefruit pale ale, plus another new one, Das Hoff, a hefeweizen on keg.
