This pub at the north end of Sutton shopping centre is handy for a quick drink or two before catching the bus home. Rebuilt by Hodgson (a Kingston brewery) in 1907, later a Courage pub then Greene King leased, until the freehold was sold in 2017 to Denton & Co Trustees Ltd. It was the Red Lion until c.2010. Cask ale was restored, with Greene King Abbot and IPA, but has since been discontinued. Sky TV and pool are available. The pub is widely known as the place where Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman became permanent members of the Rolling Stones, on 23 January 1963.
